Tandem

A poem from 2017

Riding along
I sing you a song
I can't go wrong

You steer
Where

You pedal

My legs move
I'm in the groove

Onwards and upwards

And they think I'm contributing my power to this ride
But this illusion could lead to pride
A princely pauper with a past to hide

Don't give up on me
To see your back is not enough you see

To see your face
At the end of this race
This will be the case
Because of your grace
