Are you satisfied with what you’ve got?

I see your deficiency

Your lack of humanity

Your shadow is growing pale

Your moon begins to wane

Your dog begins to wail

Growing insane

Sink your teeth into a juicy steak pie in the sky

Recover from the lie

Without spot or wrinkle

A heavenly sprinkle

A father of lies

Penetrating deep within you

Sucking out the life

Feeding on fear and hate

And “snips and snails and puppy dog tails”

Removing all that is good

Devouring the “sugar and spice and all things nice”

Something wicked’s coming

A twisted magick

The jolly fat man with ice cold heart

Dark eyes, moustache, benign

Plays a tune with chanted words

Beats you over the head

Repeatedly, deafening you

Lightning flashes before dizzy eyes

Carnival, coming to eat you up

Chaos enclosing

Men turned into rabbits

Is all lost?

Hope is coming, silencing him

No one is innocent

And that’s where you’ve been lulled into a false sense of security

You think you’re good

And that is always going to be a dangerous game to play

Watch out!

He’s skulking about tonight looking for a victim

There’s a harvest of souls a-coming

And he’s looking for someone to grab

He’s hiding in the dark night

So he’ll take you by surprise

Just when you’re happy and laughing

He’ll come a-knocking on your door

And he’ll drag you away kicking and screaming
